What are your hours?

Our regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon. On Sundays, we offer emergency care only. 

Call us at 662-252-5454 before coming to the clinic for urgent care. You may need to stabilize your pet for transport, provide first aid, or even perform CPR. We can offer guidance as we prepare for your pet’s arrival.

Does Willow Bend Animal Clinic provide 24/7 Emergency care? 

Yes. Our emergency veterinary services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We also have some emergency availability outside our regular business hours. For instance, we are available on Sundays for emergencies only. 

In an emergency, call 662-252-5454 first so we can confirm availability and give you instructions for contacting the on-call doctor.

What signs mean my pet needs emergency veterinary care?

Signs that may require immediate veterinary attention include:

• Collapse or loss of consciousness
• Seizures or convulsions
• Severe or uncontrolled bleeding
• Serious wounds, punctures, or lacerations

Our veterinary diagnostics include an in-house laboratory along with advanced imaging such as digital radiology and ultrasound. Our on-site laboratory can quickly provide blood work, urinalysis, and other tests. Imaging is also key to evaluating bones and internal organs. 

Do you provide veterinary dentistry for dogs and cats?

Yes, we provide professional veterinary dentistry for companion animals, including routine dental examinations and cleanings as well as treatment for existing oral disease and tooth extractions. Our board-certified theriogenologist provides specialized animal reproductive medicine, including pre-breeding examinations, ovulation timing, semen collection and evaluation, canine semen freezing and storage, artificial insemination, pregnancy diagnosis and monitoring, cesarean deliveries, infertility evaluations, and other advanced reproductive procedures.

Yes, our large-animal reproductive services include specialized care for equine and bovine patients. For horses, we provide services such as mare reproductive evaluations, ovulation timing, artificial insemination, pregnancy diagnosis, Caslick’s surgery, subfertile mare therapies, foaling assistance, and newborn foal evaluation. For cattle, services include bull breeding soundness examinations, trichomoniasis testing, artificial insemination, frozen embryo transfer, pregnancy diagnosis, and calving management.
